Located in the Neckar Valley and the capital of the Baden-Württemberg state, Stuttgart has been a politically significant center where counts and later the kings of Württemberg resided for centuries until the 19th century. This historical background has ensured that the city is equipped with magnificent government buildings, palaces, and museums. After some free time in the Stuttgart City Center (Zentrum) and its surroundings, we set off for Heidelberg.
