After breakfast at our hotel, we complete our check-out procedures and leave the hotel with our luggage. Our first stop is Venice, founded on 118 islands historically as a pirate colony. We reach our private vaporetto waiting for us at the Troncetto pier to arrive at the island of San Marco, known as the original Venice and also the largest among these islands. After a boat journey of about half an hour on the sea, we start our walking tour on this island, which is named after the patron saint of Venice. Apart from the natural channel called Canale Grande, many artificially made canals provided easy access to the depths of the island from the sea. Today, because of these canals, you have to cross many bridges while walking around the island. In this beautiful place holding history in every corner, some of the sights we will see include the Doge's Palace, the Prison, the Bridge of Sighs, the Basilica of San Marco housing some artifacts brought from Istanbul, St. Mark's Square, the bell tower, the astrological clock, and the Rialto Bridge. After this beautiful tour where we will find ourselves in different worlds with different stories through our guide's narratives, there will be free time. During your free time, you can browse shops selling items made of Murano glass, buy hundreds of varieties of masks identified with Venice, sit in pleasant cafes and sip your drinks accompanied by music played by an orchestra, or taste seafood. Guests who wish can join the optional Gondola tour, which is a must-do when talking about Venice (30 Euro). This dreamy journey lasting about half a minute among the water canals is an unforgettable experience that everyone should live at least once in their life. (Gondolas have a capacity of 5 people and the given price is per person. However, upon request from our valued guests, a private gondola tour for couples can be arranged with music if desired. You can learn special prices for these special requests from our guide.) After the free time, we meet at the time and place specified by our guide, return to Troncetto by private vaporetto, and continue our tour with our bus. Our next stop is Verona, one of Italy's most special cities where the romance of Romeo and Juliet took place.
