After breakfast at our hotel, we complete our check-out procedures and leave the hotel with our luggage. Our first stop is Venice, historically founded as a pirate colony on 118 islands. We reach our private vaporetto waiting for us at the Troncetto pier to arrive at San Marco island, known as the original Venice and also the largest of these islands. After a boat journey of about half an hour over the water, we begin our walking tour on this island, which was named after the patron saint of Venice. Apart from the natural canal called Canale Grande (Grand Canal), many artificially made canals also provided easy access to the depths of the island from the sea. Today, because of these canals, you have to cross many bridges while walking on the island. In this beautiful place, every corner of which contains history, some of the things we will see are the Doge's Palace, the Prison, the Bridge of Sighs, the St. Mark's Basilica housing some artifacts brought from Istanbul, St. Mark's Square, the bell tower, the astrological clock, and the Rialto Bridge. After this lovely tour where we will find ourselves in different worlds with different stories through our guide's narratives, there will be free time. During your free time, you can browse shops selling items made of Murano glass, buy hundreds of kinds of masks identified with Venice, sit in pleasant cafes and sip your drinks accompanied by music played by an orchestra, or taste seafood. Guests who wish can participate in the optional Gondola tour organized extra (30 Euro). This dreamlike journey lasting about half a hour among the water channels is an unforgettable experience that everyone should live at least once in their life. (Gondolas have a capacity of 5 people and the given price is per person. However, if there are requests from you, our valued guests, a private gondola can be arranged for couples, with music provided upon request. You can learn special prices for these special requests from our guide). After the free time, we gather at the time and place given by our guide, return to Troncetto by private vaporetto, and continue our tour with our bus.
