Following our meeting at 05.00’ in the morning in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport International Departures terminal, departure for Barcelona at 8.00’ with Turkish Airlines flight TK1853. After arriving in Barcelona at 10:45 local time, transfer to the port of Barcelona where our ship Costa Smeralda will depart. Following ship check-in and passport procedures, settling into cabins and free time. Our ship will dock in the port of Tarragona in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 02 TARRAGONA – 20.12.2026
After breakfast, free time for personal activities and shopping. Guests who wish may join the optional tour organized by our guide. Located on the Mediterranean coast of Catalonia, Tarragona is one of the region’s prominent cities with its history extending from the Roman period to the present, old town texture, and coastal atmosphere. We will have the opportunity to discover historical structures, Mediterranean landscapes, and Catalan culture in the city and its immediate surroundings. On this day spent cruising at sea, our ship will offer you many alternatives. Those who wish can take advantage of the ship's indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. DAY 04 MALAGA – 22.12.2026
Our ship will dock at the port of Malaga at 08.00’ in the morning. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. After Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, and Sevilla, it is Spain's fifth largest city. Growing quite rapidly with its magnificent sunshine, entertaining nightlife, fish restaurants with unforgettable tastes, and culturally rich historical sites, this city hosts thousands of tourists every year as the apple of the eye of Spain's Andalusia region. Guests who wish may join the “Malaga City Tour” optionally organized by their guide. Malaga, the center of the Costa del Sol (Coast of the Sun) and Andalusia, is a special fusion where Arab and Western cultures meet and showcase themselves. It is no coincidence that it is Spain's most touristic region with its Gibralfaro Castle, Cathedral, Palace of the Umayyad Sultans, and Alameda Boulevard equipped with exotic trees... Picasso didn't choose to be born here for nothing... We will introduce this mystical city closely to you and then head towards Mijas, another special Andalusian village famous for its cobbled streets, whitewashed houses, horse-drawn carriages, and authentic bazaar. DAY 05 GIBRALTAR – 23.12.2026
Our ship will dock at the port of Gibraltar at 07.00' at noon. After breakfast, free time for personal activities and shopping. Guests who wish may join the "Gibraltar Discovery Tour & St. Michael's Cave & Monkeys Park Tour" optionally organized by their guide. During our tour starting after disembarking from the ship, we ascend by private vehicles to the "Rock of Gibraltar", the iconic symbol of Gibraltar, and visit St. Michael's Cave here; following this impressive natural formation full of stalactites and stalagmites, we get the chance to observe the cute Barbary macaques, one of the symbols of the region, in their natural habitat. Then, we give a photo break at a panoramic viewpoint revealing the point where the European and African continents merge, enjoying the unique view of the Strait of Gibraltar. After descending from the rock, we proceed to the city center and take a short walk on Main Street, completing our tour with shopping and a cafe break during free time and returning to our ship. DAY 06 CASABLANCA – 24.12.2026
Our ship will dock at the port of Casablanca at 07.00' in the morning. Morning breakfast and free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may join the “Casablanca City Tour & Rabat Tour” optionally organized by their guide. We begin exploring Casablanca, meaning "White House", where the Hassan II Mosque, the world's second-largest mosque after Mecca, is located, and which is also known for Humphrey Bogart’s famous movie “Casablanca”. We will depart from the port of Casablanca by our private bus and go to the United Nations square as our first stop. Afterwards, we will see places such as the Market place, Habous square, Corniche district, and Mohammed V boulevard during the panoramic tour. We will visit the “Hassan II Mosque”, which was built between 1980-1993 and currently holds the title of the world's largest mosque. The structure, established on an area of 20,000 square meters, will remain unforgotten in your mind as one of the most interesting places of our tour. After a little free time, we will have lunch at a nice restaurant. During our approximately 45-minute journey, we will watch the natural landscapes between Casablanca and Rabat and arrive in Rabat, the current capital of the Kingdom of Morocco. After seeing the most important places of the city such as the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Royal Palace, we will taste the famous mint tea at the OUDAYA Kasbah on the banks of the Bouregreg River. DAY 07 CADIZ – 25.12.2026
Our ship will dock at the port of Cadiz at 10.00’ in the morning. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may join the “Sevilla & Cadiz Tour” optionally organized by their guide. Following our docking in Cadiz, we go to Sevilla, the most important city of Southern Spain. With the panoramic city introduction tour we will make here; the cathedral whose construction started in the 15th century in place of the old Grand Mosque dating from the Almohad period, the Alcazar royal estate where Arab gothic and Renaissance style palaces rise side by side, the 13th-century castle called the Tower of Gold, many medieval churches, the 51st Paula Nuns Monastery, and the City Hall will be among the places to be seen. Afterwards, return to Cadiz and, after a short tour introducing the city, we return to our ship. Our ship will leave the port at 18.00’. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 08 LISBON – 26.12.2026
Our ship will dock at the port of Lisbon at 13.30' in the morning. After breakfast, free time for personal activities and shopping. Guests who wish may join the "Lisbon City Tour" optionally organized by our guide. We depart for Lisbon, one of Portugal’s most popular cities, iconicized with its Yellow Trams. During the free time we will give in the Belem district upon arrival, you can try the famous Belem pastries. Then our Lisbon tour will begin. After visiting the church part of the Jeronimos Monastery, we will stop for a photo break at the Belem Tower on the banks of the Tagus River and the Monument to the Discoveries. After a short walk in the Alfama district, the oldest district of the city and the least damaged by the 17th earthquake, which took its name from the Arabic word for bath and can only be explored on foot, we will return to our vehicle. Along the way, we will pass through Praça do Comercio, the Baixa district, Rossio and Restauradores squares, and after a photo break given on the upper terrace of Eduardo park overlooking Marques de Pombal square located at the end of Liberdade avenue where chic boutiques are situated, we will complete our tour and return to our ship. Free time. With guests who wish, you can optionally participate in the “Fado Night (With Dinner)” as an activity specific to Portugal. By listening to Portugal’s famous and melancholic Fado music accompanied by port or douro wine, you will be able to experience a slice of Portugal’s soul. We go to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the European Continent, which the Portuguese poet Luis de Camoes called ”Where Land Ends and the Sea Begins”. Meaning Stone Cape and having a height of 150 m. from the sea, this panoramic area will fascinate you with its magnificent view and giant waves. After our tour, we depart for Sintra, where the summer palaces of the Portuguese Kings are located. The National Palace and the Moorish Castle are among the most important places to be photographed in Sintra. After completing our Sintra tour, return to our ship. DAY 10 TANGIER – 28.12.2026
Our ship will dock at the port of Tangier at 13.30' in the morning. Morning breakfast and free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may join the “Tangier City Tour” optionally organized by their guide. Leaving the ship, we proceed parallel to the Ocean towards Place de France. When we arrive at the Cape Spartel region, we will see the point where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic Ocean. A few kilometers from here are the Caves of Hercules. The rock structure forming these caves offers a magnificent view. Then we will go to the Kasbah region and have the chance to visit the old bazaar here. We will also see the historical minaret located here. Our last stop is Petit Socco, a region of small boutique hotels each more beautiful than the other, which has hosted many celebrities such as Matisse, Camille Saint-Saens, Paul Bowles. DAY 13 PALMA DE MALLORCA – 31.12.2026 (NEW YEAR'S EVE)
Our ship will dock at the port of Palma de Mallorca at 08.00’. After morning breakfast, departure for the “Palma de Mallorca City Tour & Valldemossa & Frederic Chopin Museum Tour” organized by our guide. We start this full-day tour by first getting to know Palma de Mallorca City, a tourism paradise with a population of 300 thousand. Among the places to be seen are the 14th-century Bellver Castle, the 13th-century famous Palma Cathedral, and right next to it, the Almudania Palace from the outside. Afterwards, after a panoramic view of the historical Arena considered the symbol of the city, we will head towards Valldemossa, located in the southwest of the island and also known by another name as the Valley of Moses. Valldemossa, a magnificent village which was used as a summer region by Kings during the medieval period and served as a resting place for monks, will be our next stop. By getting to know this region and taking plenty of photos, we will have the opportunity to know the soul of the island. In addition, we will visit the Monastery where the world-famous French composer Chopin and writer George Sand created their most beautiful works, which is the most important part of Valldemossa, and we will witness their emotional stories here. DAY 18 CIVITAVECCHIA / ROME – 05.01.2027
Our ship will dock at the port of Civitavecchia at 08.30’. After morning breakfast, free time for personal activities. In this full-day tour, we will make a panoramic tour of Rome by bus, which we will arrive at after a 1-hour and 15-minute journey with our bus waiting for us at Civitavecchia Port; places to be seen include Castel Sant’Angelo, the Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza della Repubblica, Via Nazionale, the Theatre of Marcellus, Circo Massimo, and the Forum areas. Afterwards, we explore Rome's famous squares on walking. Places to be seen include Piazza della Rotonda (Pantheon), Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps, where we finish our tour and give a shopping break. DAY 19 NAPLES – 06.01.2027
Our ship will dock at the port of Naples at 08.00'. Guests who wish may join the "Sorrento & Capri Tour (Full Day)" optionally organized by their guide. Sorrento is the birthplace of the poet Torquato Tasso, the land of colors, the homeland of mermaids, the city of lemon trees and oranges. Having also hosted the famous Soviet writer Maxim Gorki in the 1920s, Sorrento is a charming southern city where kindness and hospitality merge and are passed down from generation to generation. After our Sorrento tour, we depart for Capri. We arrive at the Island of Capri after the journey we will make by high-speed ferry. Places to visit in Capri are the town of Capri located above the port and the town of Anacapri at the very top of the hill, the Gardens of Augustus, and the shopping street. Those who wish can take the cable car from Anacapri to the highest point of the island and catch the chance to see a magnificent view. Following the end of the tour, we return to our ship.
