Pushkin Town was where the tsar and his family spent their summers during the tsarist period. Its old name, Tsarskoye Selo, means Tsar's Village. The Catherine Palace, the summer residence of the tsarist family located here, is worth seeing for its interior decoration and beauty, as well as its legendary Amber Room.
