DAY 01 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – NAPLES – POMPEII AND CITY TOUR
Meeting with our valued guests at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal at 03:30. After baggage drop, passport, and check-in procedures, departure to Naples at 07:05 with Turkish Airlines flight TK1453. Arrival in Naples at 08:25 local time. Departure to Pompeii with our vehicle waiting for us. While it was one of the largest cities in the Mediterranean during the Roman Empire, Pompeii, which remained under the ashes of Mount Vesuvius, has become one of the world's largest open-air museums thanks to excavation works that have been continuing for two centuries. In Pompeii, where many structures from the Roman period can still be seen intact, you will get to know the civilization of that period by walking street by street and have the chance to see human remains left under the ashes of Vesuvius. After the tour, we depart for Naples city center. During our panoramic tour by bus in Naples, a typical Mediterranean city founded at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, where Neapolitan songs were born and the homeland of Italian pizza, the city's elite neighborhoods, Enrico Caruso's house, the Royal Castle, and the Santa Lucia coastline will be seen; a photo break will be taken at Vomero Hill. At the end of the tour, departure to our hotel in Naples and overnight stay at our hotel.
DAY 02 SORRENTO – POSITANO – AMALFIAfter breakfast, we start our full-day excursion at the time previously specified by our guide. Our first stop is Sorrento; the land of colors, the homeland of mermaids, famous for its lemon trees and oranges, where the poet Torquato Tasso was born. Sorrento, which also hosted the famous Soviet writer Maxim Gorky in the 1920s, is a charming southern city where kindness and hospitality are combined, and traditions are passed down from generation to generation. After our Sorrento tour, we depart for Costiera Amalfitana, known as one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world. We visit Positano first by our bus, and then the Amalfi coast. Amalfi, the capital of the Amalfi Maritime Republic, was an important trade center between 800 and 1200. Located in the Gulf of Salerno, 35 km south of Naples, the city of Amalfi was one of the popular destinations for British aristocrats and wealthy people in the 1920s and 1930s. Today, it is an important tourist destination along with Positano, Ravello, and other towns on the coastline. At the end of the tour, return to our hotel in Naples and overnight stay at our hotel.
DAY 03 CAPRI ISLAND
After breakfast, we start our full-day excursion at the time previously specified by our guide. After our journey by fast ferry, we arrive at the legendary Capri Island. Places to visit in Capri include the town of Capri located above the port, the town of Anacapri at the highest point of the hill, the Gardens of Augustus, and the shopping street. Guests who wish can take the cable car from Anacapri to the highest point of the island and enjoy the magnificent view. After this full-day island experience where we will spend time with Capri's turquoise bays, narrow stone streets, and lush nature, we return to Naples. At the end of the tour, return to our hotel in Naples and overnight stay at our hotel.
DAY 04 NAPLES – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, we complete our check-out procedures from the hotel and depart for the airport at the time specified by our guide. After ticket and baggage procedures, departure from Naples to Istanbul at 20:45 with Turkish Airlines flight TK1880. Arrival in Istanbul at 00:05 and the end of our tour.
