This cathedral, dating back to the 17th century, was built on the ruins of old Romanesque and Gothic churches. After watching this magnificent cathedral with admiration, our next journey is the historical streets of Sitges, and the Maricel Palace and Museum, which are rare examples of Modernism within the medieval city center, are a paradise for collection lovers. The place we will stand right in front of is the Cau Ferrat Museum, the home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the modernist movement in the Catalonia region. When he started to exhibit his paintings here in Sitges, he also took on the biggest role in making the town so well-known.
