Pushkin (Tsarskoye Selo) + Catherine Palace + Shuvalovka Village + Peterhof Park and Gardens - Including Lunch at a Farm Restaurant in Shuvalovka
There are exceptionally charming towns and villages around St. Petersburg. Among these, Pushkin and Peterhof are undoubtedly the most famous. Pushkin Town was where the tsar and his family spent their summers during the tsarist era. Its former name, Tsarskoye Selo, means Tsar's Village. The Catherine Palace, the summer residence of the imperial family located here, is well worth seeing for its interior decoration and beauty, alongside its legendary Amber Room. Used as headquarters by the Nazis during World War II, the palace was damaged at the end of the war, and the amber in the Amber Room was stripped and taken away. Restored after the war, the palace's famous Amber Room is now open to visitors thanks to great efforts.
Shuvalovka is a small settlement located on the way to Peterhof. We will have lunch at a farm located here. Peterhof, situated on the Baltic Sea coast 30 km from the city, features the summer palace built by Tsar Peter the Great, which leaves visitors in awe with its unique gardens, beauty, and splendor, featuring over 150 gold-plated fountains and water features. At the end of your park tour, you can watch the Gulf of Finland and the skyline of St. Petersburg. 160 EUR
