DAY 01 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – MILAN – SAVONA
Following our meeting at Istanbul Airport International Departures terminal at 03:30 AM, departure for Milan with Turkish Airlines flight TK1873 at 08:15 AM. Upon arrival in Milan at 09:05 local time, transfer to the port of Savona where our ship COSTA TOSCANA will depart from. After ship check-in and passport procedures, settling into cabins and free time. Our ship will leave the port at 17:30. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 02 MARSEILLE (AIX EN PROVENCE)
Our ship will dock at the port of Marseille at 09:00 AM. Free time in the morning for shopping and personal activities. Departure for guests wishing to join the optional "Marseille City Tour & Aix En Provence Tour" organized by their guide. In Marseille, an important maritime city, our tour will start with a visit to the "Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral" located on a high hill. Following this visit, the Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, old town, Hotel de Ville, and the marina area will be some of the sights to see. Afterwards, we will head to Aix en Provence, located 40 minutes away from Marseille. It will start with the famous 12th-century St. Saviour’s Cathedral with its Romanesque facade and covered vaulted walkway. Then, during our pleasant walk in the old district of the city, you will see the ancient inns located here and the Mazarino district designed in the 17th century by the brother of Cardinal Mazarin. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 03 BARCELONA
Our ship will dock at the port of Barcelona at 09:00 AM. Free time after breakfast for personal activities. Guests wishing to do so may join the optional "Barcelona City Tour" organized by our guide. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of Europe's most beautiful metropolises, will start with our private bus waiting for us at the port. La Rambla Street, the Christopher Columbus Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Port, Barceloneta Beach, the Olympic area and port, Catalunya Square, Passeig de Gracia street where Gaudi's houses have been turned into an open-air street museum, and his masterpiece Sagrada Familia will be among the places we see. During our tour, we will go up to Montjuic hill to take scenery photos. After free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. Our ship will leave the port at 19:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 04 PALMA DE MALLORCA
Our ship will dock at the port of Palma De Mallorca at 07:30 AM. Free time after breakfast for shopping and personal activities. Guests wishing to do so may join the optional "Palma De Mallorca City Tour & Valldemossa & Frederic Chopin Museum Tour" organized by their guide. We will start this full-day tour by first getting to know Palma de Mallorca, a tourism paradise with a population of 300 thousand. Sights to see include the 14th-century Bellver Castle, the famous 13th-century Palma Cathedral, and the Almudania Palace right next to it (from the outside). Afterwards, after a panoramic view of the historic Arena, considered the symbol of the city, we will head towards Valldemossa, located in the southwest of the island, also known as the Valley of Moses. Valldemossa, a magnificent village used as a summer resort by kings in the Middle Ages and as a resting place for monks, will be our next stop. By exploring this region and taking plenty of photos, we will have the opportunity to experience the soul of the island. Furthermore, we will visit the Monastery in Valldemossa—the most important part—where the world-famous French composer Chopin and writer George Sand created their finest works, and we will witness their emotional stories. Return to the ship after the tour. Our ship will leave the port at 17:00 in the evening. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 05 DAY AT SEA
On this day spent cruising at sea, our ship will offer you many alternatives. Those who wish can make use of the ship's indoor and outdoor pools, Jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Those who want can shop at the duty-free shops, try their luck in the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment performed in dozens of bars. Different dining alternatives await you all day long. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 06 PALERMO
Our ship will dock at the port of Palermo at 08:00 AM. Free time after breakfast for shopping and personal activities. Guests wishing to do so may join the optional "Palermo & Cefalu Tour" organized by our guide. Upon arrival in Palermo, the capital of Sicily, we head to Cefalu, one of the most beautiful resort towns of Palermo and Sicily. With its medieval structures, the town is a place both for shopping and for fully experiencing the Sicilian spirit. During our tour, the Norman-era cathedral and the ancient washhouse will be among the places we visit. After free time, return to Palermo and we will take a tour introducing the city. Afterwards, we visit the Monreale Cathedral. We see the total 6340 m2 of mosaic decorations depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments. Then return to the ship. Our ship will leave the port at 16:30 in the evening. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 07 CIVITAVECCHIA / ROME
Our ship will dock at the port of Civitavecchia at 08:30 AM. Free time after breakfast for personal activities. Guests wishing to do so may join the optional "Rome City Tour" organized by our guide. On this full-day tour, after a 1-15 hour journey with our bus waiting for us at Civitavecchia Port, we will do a panoramic tour of Rome with our bus. Sights to see include: Castel Sant’Angelo, the Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza della Repubblica, Via Nazionale, the Theater of Marcellus, Circo Massimo, and the Roman Forum areas. Afterwards, we explore Rome's famous squares on foot. Sights to see include: Pantheon Square, Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, and ending our tour at the Spanish Steps with a shopping break. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will leave the port at 19:00 in the evening. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 08 SAVONA – MILAN – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at the port of Savona at 08:30 AM. Following breakfast, we complete our ship disembarkation procedures and then leave the ship. We depart for Milan Airport with our private vehicle waiting for us at the port. Upon arrival at the airport, after check-in and passport procedures, we depart for Istanbul with Turkish Airlines flight TK1876 at 18:35. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 23:40 local time. End of our tour.
