DAY 1 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – MILAN / GENOA
Following our meeting at Istanbul Airport International Departures terminal at 03.30 in the morning, departure for Milan with Turkish Airlines flight TK1873 at 06.50. After arriving in Milan at 08:45 local time, transfer to the port of Genoa where our COSTA SMERALDA ship will depart from. After ship check-in and passport procedures, settling into cabins and free time. Our ship will leave the port at 17:00. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 2 MARSEILLE (AIX EN PROVENCE)
Our ship will dock at the port of Marseille at 09.00. Free time in the morning for breakfast, shopping, and personal activities. Departure for those guests who wish to join the optional “Marseille City Tour & Aix En Provence Tour” organized by their guide. In Marseille, an important maritime city, we will start our tour by first visiting the Cathedral La Major located on a high hill. Following this visit, Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, old town, Hotel de Ville, and the marina area will be some of the places to see. Afterwards, we will go to Aix en Provence, located 40 minutes away from Marseille. It will start with the famous 12th-century St. Saviour’s Cathedral with its Romanesque front facade and covered vaulted path. Later, during our pleasant walk in the old district of the city, you will see the ancient inns located here and the Mazarino neighborhood designed in the 17th century by the brother of Cardinal Mazarin. DAY 3 BARCELONA
Our ship will dock at the port of Barcelona at 08.00 in the morning. Free time in the morning for breakfast, shopping, and personal activities. Departure for those guests who wish to join the optional “Barcelona City Tour” organized by their guide. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of Europe's most beautiful metropolises, will start with our private bus waiting for us at the port. La Rambla Street, Christopher Columbus Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Port, Barceloneta Beach, Olympic area and port, Catalunya Square, Paseo de Gracia street where Gaudi’s houses have been turned into an open-air street museum, and his primary work Sagrada Familia will be among the places we see. During our tour, we will ascend Montjuic hill to take landscape photos. After free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. Our ship will leave the port at 18.00. DAY 4 CRUISING AT SEA
On this day spent cruising at sea, our ship will offer you many alternatives. Those who wish can make use of the ship's outdoor and indoor pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Those who want can shop at duty-free stores, try their luck at the casino, or enjoy different music and entertainment performed in dozens of bars. Various dining alternatives will also await you all day long. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 5 CAGLIARI
Our ship will dock at the port of Cagliari at 07:00 in the morning. Free time for shopping and personal activities after morning breakfast. Guests who wish can join the optional “Cagliari City Tour & Audarya Winery Vineyards Tour” organized by their guide. With our private vehicle at the port, we set off towards Danilova, where Sardinia’s famous wines are produced. On the way, we will stop at Poetto Beach, the most beautiful beach of Sardinia, and the magnificent view of Urpino hill to take photos of pink flamingos. Afterwards, we will visit a local wine cellar and get detailed information about the winemaking process. Guests who wish can participate in wine tasting. DAY 6 NAPLES
Our ship will dock at the port of Naples at 08:30. Free time for shopping and personal activities after morning breakfast. Guests who wish can join the optional “Naples City Tour & Pompeii Tour” organized by their guide. Naples, the famous port of the Campania Region, is one of the few European cities where ancient times have never completely disappeared. Founded by the Greeks and developed and expanded by the Romans, the city has been the most precious treasure for foreign invaders over the centuries. The extension of such a past to the present day is a metropolis that is noisy, high in crime rates, a bit messy, a bit complicated, but worth seeing. On this tour, while exploring the human and house ruins in Pompeii, which remained under the ashes of Mount Vesuvius, you will experience the incredible destruction nature can inflict upon us and the power of nature. Afterwards, we will drop by Naples and see the Royal Square following a panoramic bus tour. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and accommodation on board. DAY 7 CIVITAVECCHIA / ROME
Our ship will dock at the port of Civitavecchia at 08.00. Free time for personal activities after morning breakfast. Guests who wish can join the “Rome City Tour” organized optionally by our guide. On this full-day tour, after a 1-hour and 15-minute journey with our bus waiting for us at Civitavecchia Port, we will make a panoramic tour by bus in Rome; places to see include: Castel Sant’Angelo, Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza della Repubblica, Via Nazionale, Theater of Marcellus, Circo Massimo, Forum areas. Afterwards, we discover Rome's famous squares on foot. Places to see include: Pantheon Square, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, and ending our tour at the Spanish Steps, we give a shopping break. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will leave the port at 18.00 in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 8 GENOA – MILAN – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at the port of Savona at 08.30 in the morning. Following morning breakfast, we complete our ship disembarkation procedures and then leave the ship. Guests who wish can join the “Serravalle Outlet Tour” organized optionally by our guide. Departure for Serravalle Outlet, one of Italy's most famous outlets, with our private vehicle waiting for us at the port, and free time for shopping. At the end of the tour, we depart for Milan Malpensa Airport. Following our arrival at the airport, after check-in and passport procedures, we depart for Istanbul with Turkish Airlines flight TK1876 at 20.10. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 00.10 local time.
