DAY 1: ISTANBUL AIRPORT – MILAN – SAVONA
Following our meeting at Istanbul Airport International Departures terminal at 03:30 in the morning, departure for Milan with Turkish Airlines flight TK1873 at 08:15. Upon arrival in Milan at local time 09:05, transfer to the port of Savona where our COSTA TOSCANA ship will depart from. After ship check-in and passport procedures, cabin settlement and free time. Our ship will leave the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 2: MARSEILLE (AIX-EN-PROVENCE)
Our ship will dock at the port of Marseille at 08:30 in the morning. Free time in the morning for breakfast, shopping, and personal activities. Departure for those guests wishing to join the optional “Marseille City Tour & Aix-en-Provence Tour” organized by our guides. In Marseille, an important maritime city, we will start our tour by first visiting the “Notre-Dame de la Garde Basilica” located on a high hill. Following this visit, the Longchamp Fountain, Saint-Charles train station, old town, Hotel de Ville, and the marina area will be among the sights to see. Afterwards, we will proceed to Aix-en-Provence, located 40 minutes away from Marseille. We will start with the famous 12th-century St. Saviour’s Cathedral with its Romanesque facade and vaulted covered walkway. Later, during our pleasant walk in the old district of the city, you will see the ancient inns located here and the Mazarine quarter, designed in the 17th century by the brother of Cardinal Mazarin. DAY 3: BARCELONA
Our ship will dock at the port of Barcelona at 08:00 in the morning. Free time for personal activities after morning breakfast. Guests who wish may join the optional “Barcelona City Tour” organized by our guide. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of Europe’s most beautiful metropolises, will start with our private bus waiting for us at the port. La Rambla Street, the Christopher Columbus Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Port, Barceloneta Beach, the Olympic area and port, Plaça de Catalunya, Passeig de Gràcia boulevard where Antoni Gaudí's houses are transformed into an open-air museum, and his principal masterpiece Sagrada Família are among the places we will see. During our tour, we will go up to Montjuïc hill to take landscape photos. After free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. DAY 4: IBIZA
Our ship will dock at the port of Ibiza at 12:30 in the morning. Free time for personal activities after morning breakfast. Guests who wish can get information from our guide, swim in the magnificent beaches of Ibiza, go shopping, and have lunch. Our ship will depart from the port at 20:00. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 5: CRUISING AT SEA
On this day spent cruising at sea, our ship will offer you many alternatives. Those who wish can make use of the ship's outdoor and indoor pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Those who want can shop at the duty-free shops, try their luck in the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment performed in dozens of bars. Different dining alternatives will also be waiting for you all day long. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 6: PALERMO
Our ship will dock at the port of Palermo at 08:00 in the morning. Free time for shopping and personal activities after morning breakfast. Guests who wish may join the optional “Palermo & Cefalù Tour” organized by our guide. Following arrival in Palermo, the capital of Sicily, we go to Cefalù, one of the most beautiful holiday resorts of Palermo and Sicily. With its medieval structures, the town is a place both for shopping and for fully experiencing the Sicilian spirit. During our tour, the Norman-era cathedral and the ancient washhouse will be among the places we visit. After free time, we return to Palermo and take a tour introducing the city. Afterwards, we visit the Monreale Cathedral. We see the mosaic decoration covering a total area of 6,340 m2 depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments. Then, return to the ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 16:30 in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 7: CIVITAVECCHIA / ROME
Our ship will dock at the port of Civitavecchia at 08:30. Free time for personal activities after morning breakfast. Guests who wish may join the optional “Rome City Tour” organized by our guide. On this full-day tour, after a 1-hour and 15-minute journey with our bus waiting for us at Civitavecchia Port, we arrive in Rome and take a panoramic bus tour; sights to see include: Castel Sant'Angelo, the Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza della Repubblica, Via Nazionale, the Theatre of Marcellus, Circo Massimo, and the Forum areas. Afterwards, we discover Rome's famous squares on foot. Sights to see include: Piazza della Rotonda (Pantheon), Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps, where we end our tour and give a shopping break. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 19:00 in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 8: SAVONA – MILAN – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at the port of Savona at 08:30 in the morning. After morning breakfast, we complete our ship disembarkation procedures and then leave the ship. We depart for Milan Airport with our private vehicle waiting for us at the port. Following our arrival at the airport and after check-in and passport procedures, we depart for Istanbul with Turkish Airlines flight TK1876 at 18:35. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at local time 23:40. End of our tour.
