DAY 01 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – MILAN – SAVONA
After meeting at Istanbul Airport International Terminal at 03:30 in the morning, departure to Milan at 08:15 with Turkish Airlines flight TK1873. Upon our arrival in Milan at 09:05 local time, transfer to the port of Savona, where our ship COSTA TOSCANA will set sail. After ship check-in and passport procedures, settling into cabins and free time. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 02 MARSEILLE (AIX EN PROVENCE)
Our ship will dock at Marseille port at 08:30 in the morning. Free time for morning breakfast, shopping, and personal activities. For guests who wish, departure for the optional “Marseille City Tour & Aix En Provence Tour” organized by our guide. In Marseille, an important maritime city, we will start our tour by first visiting the “Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral” located on a high hill. Following this visit, the Longchamp Fountain, Saint Charles train station, old town, Hotel de Ville, and marina area are among the places to see. Afterwards, we will head to Aix en Provence, located 40 minutes from Marseille. It will begin with the famous 12th-century St. Saviour’s Cathedral with its Romanesque facade and covered arcaded walkway. Later, during our pleasant walk in the old town, you will see the ancient inns here and the Mazarin district, designed in the 17th century by Cardinal Mazarin’s brother. DAY 03 BARCELONA
Our ship will dock at Barcelona port at 08:00 in the morning. Free time for personal activities after morning breakfast. Guests who wish can join the optional “Barcelona City Tour” organized by our guide. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of Europe’s most beautiful metropolises, will start with our private bus waiting for us at the port. La Rambla, Christopher Columbus Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Port, Barceloneta Beach, Olympic area and port, Catalunya Square, Passeig de Gracia street where Gaudi’s houses turn into a street museum, and his main masterpiece Sagrada Familia are among the places we will see. During our tour, we will go up to Montjuic hill and take landscape photos. After free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. DAY 04 LA GOULETTE
Our ship will dock at La Goulette port at 08:00 in the morning. After morning breakfast, we depart for the Carthage & Sidi Bou Said tour with our vehicle waiting for us. Carthage, our first stop, is a city founded by a Phoenician colony. Among the places we will see here are the Early Christian Museum and the National Museum of Carthage. Sidi Bou Said, our second stop, is a picturesque village located atop a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, where we will take a pleasant walk through its winding, cobblestone streets. Its white walls, contrasting sky-blue doors, and ornate window grills will remind you of Greece and Bodrum. At the end of our tour, after free time to take photos and buy souvenirs, we transfer back to the ship at the time specified by our guide. Our ship will depart from the port at 16:00. DAY 05 DAY AT SEA
On this day spent at sea, our ship will offer you many alternatives. Those who wish can take advantage of the ship’s outdoor and indoor pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Those who wish can shop from duty-free stores, try their luck at the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment presented in dozens of bars. All-day long, different dining options also await you. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 06 PALERMO
Our ship will dock at Palermo port at 08:00 in the morning. Free time for shopping and personal activities after morning breakfast. Guests who wish can join the optional “Palermo & Cefalu Tour” organized by our guide. Upon arrival in Palermo, the capital of Sicily, we head to Cefalu, one of the most beautiful resort towns of Palermo and Sicily. With its medieval structures, the town is a place where you can both shop and fully feel the Sicilian spirit. During our tour, the Norman Cathedral and ancient washhouse are among the places we will visit. After free time, return to Palermo and an orientation tour of the city. Afterwards, we visit Monreale Abbey. We will see a total of 6340 m2 of mosaic decoration depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments. Return to the ship afterwards. Our ship will depart from the port at 16:30 in the evening. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 07 CIVITAVECCHIA / ROME
Our ship will dock at Civitavecchia port at 08:30. Free time for personal activities after morning breakfast. Guests who wish can join the optional “Rome City Tour” organized by our guide. On this full-day tour, after a 1-hour and 15-minute journey with our bus waiting for us at Civitavecchia Port, we arrive in Rome and take a panoramic tour by bus; places to see include Castel Sant’Angelo, Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Popolo Square, Republica Square, Via Nazionale, Marcello Theatre, Circo Massimo, and the Forum areas. Afterwards, we discover Rome’s famous squares on foot. Among the places to see; we finish our tour at Pantheon Square, Navona Square, Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps, followed by a shopping break. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 19:00 in the evening. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 08 SAVONA – MILAN – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at Savona port at 08:30 in the morning. After morning breakfast, we complete our ship check-out procedures and disembark from the ship. We depart for Milan Airport with our private vehicle waiting at the port. Upon arrival at the airport, following check-in and passport control procedures, we depart for Istanbul at 18:35 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1876. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 23:40 local time. End of our tour.
