DAY 1: ISTANBUL AIRPORT – MARSEILLE / AIX-EN-PROVENCE
Following our meeting at Istanbul Airport International Departures terminal at 03:30, we complete our check-in procedures and depart for Marseille at 07:05 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1365. Upon our arrival in Marseille at 09:20 local time, transfer to our ship located at the port of Marseille. Free time after completing ship check-in procedures and settling into cabins. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00 in the evening. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 2: BARCELONA
Our ship will dock at the port of Barcelona at 14:30 in the afternoon. Free time for personal activities after morning breakfast. Guests who wish may join the optional “Barcelona City Tour” organized by our guide. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of Europe's most beautiful metropolises, will begin with our private bus waiting for us at the port. Among the places we will see are La Rambla, Christopher Columbus Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Port, Barceloneta Beach, the Olympic area and port, Plaça de Catalunya, Passeig de Gràcia—where Gaudí's houses have been turned into an open-air street museum—and his masterpiece, the Sagrada Família. During our tour, we will go up to Montjuïc hill to take landscape photos. After free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 19:30. DAY 3: CRUISING AT SEA
On this day spent cruising at sea, our ship will offer you many alternatives. Those who wish can take advantage of the ship's indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Those who want can shop at duty-free shops, try their luck in the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment performed in dozens of bars. Different dining alternatives will also await you all day long. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 4: LA GOULETTE
Our ship will dock at the port of La Goulette at 08:00 in the morning. Free time for personal activities after morning breakfast. Guests who wish may join the optional “Carthage & Sidi Bou Said” tour organized by our guide. Carthage, our first stop, is a city founded by a Phoenician colony. Among the places we will see here are the Early Christian Museum and the Carthage National Museum. Our second stop is Sidi Bou Said; we will take a pleasant walk through the winding, cobblestone streets of this picturesque village perched on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean. Its white walls, contrasting sky-blue doors, and ornate window grilles will remind you of Greece and Bodrum. At the end of our tour, after giving free time to take photos and buy souvenirs, we transfer to the ship at the time specified by our guide. Our ship will depart from the port at 16:00. DAY 5: PALERMO
Our ship will dock at the port of Palermo at 09:00 in the morning. Free time for shopping and personal activities after morning breakfast. Guests who wish may join the optional “Palermo & Cefalù Tour” organized by our guide. Following our arrival in Palermo, the capital of Sicily, we head to Cefalù, one of the most beautiful resort towns of Palermo and Sicily. With its medieval buildings, the town is a place where you can both shop and fully feel the spirit of Sicily. During our tour, the Norman cathedral and ancient washhouse will be among the places we visit. After free time, we return to Palermo and take a city tour. Afterwards, we visit the Monreale Cathedral. We view the mosaic decorations totaling 6,340 m2 depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments. Then, return to the ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 17:00 in the evening. DAY 6: NAPLES
Our ship will dock at the port of Naples at 13:00 in the afternoon. Guests who wish may join the optional “Sorrento & Capri Tour (Full Day)” organized by their guide. Sorrento is the birthplace of the poet Torquato Tasso, the land of colors, the homeland of mermaids, and the city of lemon and orange trees. Having also hosted the famous Soviet writer Maxim Gorky in the 1920s, Sorrento is a charming southern city where kindness and hospitality merge and are passed down from generation to generation. After our Sorrento tour, we depart for Capri. We arrive at the island of Capri following our journey by high-speed ferry. Places to visit in Capri include the town of Capri located above the port, the “Anacapri” town at the very top of the hill, the Gardens of Augustus, and the shopping street. Those who wish can take the chairlift from Anacapri to the highest point of the island and catch a chance to see a magnificent view. After the tour ends, we return to our ship. DAY 7: LIVORNO
Our ship will dock at the port of Livorno at 07:00 in the morning. Free time for shopping and personal activities after morning breakfast. Guests who wish may join the optional “Florence & Pisa Tour” organized by their guide. With our private vehicle waiting for us at the port, we first head to the nearby city of Pisa. In the famous square of the city called the Piazza dei Miracoli, we see the Duomo, the Baptistery, and the Leaning Tower, and take a short shopping break. Those who wish to climb this tower, which has an inclination of about 14 degrees, must climb 294 steps for a fee. Afterwards, accompanied by magnificent Tuscan landscapes, we arrive in Florence after a journey of about 1.5 hours by our vehicle, and we panoramically tour the Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, and the Florence Cathedral and Baptistery. Inviting you to the heart of fashion, Florence is a shopping paradise, especially for shoes, bags, and all kinds of leather products. Free time for lunch and shopping in this city, which attracts and deserves the most tourists in Italy after Rome. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. DAY 8: MARSEILLE – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at the port of Marseille at 09:00 in the morning. After morning breakfast, we complete our ship disembarkation procedures and then leave the ship. Guests who wish may join the optional “Aix-en-Provence Tour” organized by our guide. Setting off with our waiting private vehicle, we begin our Aix-en-Provence tour, where you will feel the fascinating atmosphere of Southern France. Our first stop will be the famous Saint-Sauveur Cathedral, which has survived from the 12th century with its magnificent Romanesque-style front facade and covered arched passageway. Afterwards, we will set out on a pleasant walk through the historical streets of the city where you will closely feel its texture. During this stroll, you will discover ancient inns bearing traces of the past and the elegant Mazarin district designed by the brother of Cardinal Mazarin in the 17th century. At the end of our tour, we depart for Marseille Airport. Following our arrival at the airport, after check-in and passport procedures, we depart for Istanbul at 19:00 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1368S. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 23:15 local time.
